Youth Audition Information

If you are invited to callbacks they will be held on October 13th at 6:30 PM.

Please prepare a 32 bar cut (30 seconds to 1 minute of music) that you feel best represents you. Please choose a song from a musical. An accompanist will be provided. Singing a cappella is not encouraged.

Please bring sheet music of the song you have chosen to sing along with a headshot or resume if you have one. Any photograph of you would be perfect (it does not have to be professional). Please bring a water bottle.

6-13 years old
We welcome disabled and neurodivergent children as well as those who are non-disabled. No experience necessary, all levels welcome!

Rehearsals are every evening from November 22nd- December 12th from 4:30- 7:00PM except there is no rehearsal on November 23rd or 28th or on December 3rd, 5th, and 8th. Please keep this in mind as minimal conflicts will be required and this is a fast paced rehearsal schedule.
The Performances are currently listed on our website please take note of the performance on December 13th. This 10:00AM performance is during the school day and will require your child to miss school.
Youth Ensemble Series
The Youth Ensemble Series proudly produces four junior or youth edition productions each year, catering to students aged 6-18. With casts of up to 30 our lineup includes three shows for ages 6-13 and one production for ages 14-18. Designed to complement our academic classes, these productions offer students the invaluable opportunity to audition, rehearse, and perform in a safe and supportive environment.
Every step of the process is enriching, whether it’s a child’s first audition or a returning performer from previous productions. While there is a small production fee for those selected to participate, this fee supports essential elements such as props, sets, costumes, and staffing, ensuring a memorable experience for every participant.
The selected cast rehearses for 30 hours typically 4:30-7:00 Monday Through Friday and 11:00 AM-4:00 PM on weekends. This can shift slightly depending on the age of cast members. The performances are weekends and occasionally Friday Matinees where we perform for local schools.

Moana
Our teen show was Snoopy The Musical. We look forward to the rest of our season with our 6-13 year old students. Each production rehearses for three weeks prior to performances. Auditions typically occur a month before the start of each rehearsal process and information is regularly updated and can be found above.
